This is the whole loop. Hover a word for its reading, meaning and dictionary form. Lost the whole sentence? Click the magic helper star on the line for a translation with every word explained. Japanese and Chinese are split into real words, so you hover the word, not one character.
Getting started
Add Kitsumi to Chrome or Firefox, open any video and click the fox icon.
The welcome screen asks what you are learning and sets sensible defaults.
One click in the Dict tab. One is enough to start, and lookups then work offline.
Pick the track on YouTube, search Jimaku, OpenSubtitles or SubDL, or drop in your own file.
That is the loop. Click a word you already know and it turns grey, so new words stand out.
